First Post! Introduction?

Hello world!!

Okay, for the two people who read my other blog--Genesis--this is Simone again! I have decided to abandon Genesis, (for a variety of reasons, all having to do with either my lack of computer skills or lack of motivation), but am absolutely DETERMINED to blog regularly in this blog.

Ooooh, you want to know a little about me? I'm glad you asked! :-)

I am a saved-by-grace-through-faith Christian, reformed, baptized, and seeking daily to grow closer to my Savior. I am a college sophomore; though at the time I write this I am at home taking part-time classes. I am primarily African-American, but am proud to be a virtual melting pot of a whole hosts of races and cultures. I am a film junkie, a bookworm, a packrat, in love with all things Italian, slightly OCD, an animal lover, and am obsessed with Clean and Clear face wash of every type. I sing, I write, I take pictures, film, make scrapbooks, crochet, play the piano, play soccer, cook, and babysit as often as I can. I love rainy days better than clear ones and am chronically obsessed with chocolate.

I struggle with my weight. (Hmmm, maybe that's related to the obsession with chocolate? The pieces are all falling together!) I struggle with my mouth. I am a bit of a procrastinator--okay, more than a bit--and I have a hard time with being patient (interestingly enough). I am working on my attitude, and I also struggle with putting my quiet time with the Lord above anything else. I struggle with depression everyday, but am absolutely resolved to trust in God for everything.

Well, I guess that's all for now! My sister has a blog as well and as soon as i find out what its name is--sad, I realize--and obtain permission from her, I'll post its link here.

I might post again later on today when I come up with something else to say...
